For those of you visiting our yoga retreat, you may find delight in birdwatching in Canaan, Costa Rica. This area of Costa Rica is ideal for those who enjoy observing the playful life of the birds. Explore and watch the colorful birds with one of our local guides. The price for the four-hour tour is $20 per person, minimum two people.

The following is a list of a few of the birds that our local birdwatchers have been able to capture in the area of the Chirripo. This list has been put together according to families that have been sighted between 1200msnm – 3820 msnm.
