Rio Chirripo yoga Retreat welcomes individual travelers to come and find relaxation at our Retreat as well as teachers and presenters to bring their group for workshops, meetings and conferences. Please read the following information for a full understanding on how to book a group or come as an individual.
Policies to book a group
- Minimum number of guests is eight and maximum is twenty four.
- Minimum stay is two nights.
- A deposit of $500 is required to reserve dates. An additional deposit of $500 is required one month prior to arrival.
- Deposits will be refunded for cancellations within six weeks of scheduled arrival date.
- You can reserve a room before and after a workshop
- Rio Chirripo Retreat is a non-smoking facility.
- Wireless internet is included in the common area.
Visiting Rio Chirripo Retreat as an individual traveler
- You don’t need to be part of a retreat group to visit us at Rio Chirripo Retreat. We welcome all travelers weather they want to spend one night with us or any number of nights. We are a great mid point in between San Jose and the southern part of Costa Rica, we are only 40 minutes of the Interamerican highway.
- We are 15 minutes to the trail head to Chirripo National Park, so if you are planning a visit to the park you can leave your luggage, car etc at our place and we will give you a ride to the trail head.

Meals
- We make a great effort to provide clean, fresh, consciously handled food.
- Prices include all meals and taxes.
- Meals are vegetarian, organic ingredients whenever possible, but can include fish and chicken when requested by the group.
- Special diets will be accomodated to the best of our ability.
Renting Rio Chirripo Retreat without meals
- For a special event where you prefer to provide your own meals for your guests, Rio Chirripo Retreat can be reserved for $1000 per day regardless of the minimum number of guests.
- Three day minimum, 20 guests maximum.
- We reeserve the right to aprove the appropiateness of the nature of events at Rio Chirripo Retreat.
- Rio Chirripo Retreat is a non-smoking facility.
- Wireless internet is included in the common area.
Rooms
- There are 11 rooms at Rio Chirripo, 9 with private bath, 2 with shared bath.
- All of our rooms are non-smoking.
- Our rooms include all meals and taxes.
